Finding Text
To search a file for text:

Choose Edit > Find > Find, and use the Find panel.
Tip
To choose what the Find panel does when it reaches the end of a file, choose Edit > Preferences, choose Find from the pop-up menu at the top of the dialog box, and adjust the Wrapping options.
To search every file in a project for text:

Click the Project Find button in the Project Browser then choose Textually from the pop-up menu.
To search for a regular expression:

Click the Project Find button in the Project Browser, then choose Reg Expr'n from the pop-up menu.
Shortcuts for Finding Text
To search for more instances of text that appears in an editor window:

Select the text to search for, and choose Tools > Project Find > Find Text.
To search for text as you type it (also called an incremental search):

Press Control-S and type the text. To start searching in reverse, press Control-R.
Tip
To choose who an incremental search handles newlines and case, choose Edit > Preferences, choose Find from the pop-up menu at the top of the dialog box, and adjust the Incremental Find options.
